Siemens Gamesa secures 640 MW order

Offshore wind farm Yunlin is ready to enter construction phase. German project developer WPD has secured financing with four local and 15 international banks as well as export credit agencies from Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands, EKF, Euler Hermes og Atradius, respectively. The project will have a combined effect of 640 MW consisting of 80 8 MW Siemens Gamesa wind turbines. The order, now firm and unconditional, also includes a 15-year service agreement.
