French tender is excellent news for the wind industry

The price of EUR 50 per MWh is only a fourth of that at the most recent tender in 2014. The competitive prices show that the French market is ready for even more offshore wind, says Wind Europe.

Things are looking brighter for the wind industry in France, says trade association Wind Europe after an EDF-headed consortium with Enbridge and Innogy won Friday's tender for an offshore wind farm of 600 MW in Dunkerque.
