Ørsted orders 900 MW from Siemens Gamesa

The offshore wind turbine manufacturer has won a firm order from the developer's first Changhua projects in Taiwan.

Siemens Gamesa will supply wind turbines to Ørsted's Taiwanese projects, Changhua 1 and 2a. The energy company has now placed a firm and unconditional order with its customary supplier, which will deliver its SG 8.0-167 machines to the project, set to enter operation in 2021, informs Siemens Gamesa in a notice to the Spanish stock exchange.
