Senior Analyst: Siemens Gamesa ahead of MHI Vestas

A recent large order from Ørsted indicates that Siemens Gamesa is in an extremely strong position compared to MHI Vestas, says Jacob Pedersen, head of equity research at Danish bank Sydbank.

MHI Vestas has the industry's largest wind turbines, but Siemens Gamesa is not set back on that account. The latter company has just been awarded a 900 MW order by Danish utility Ørsted for its offshore wind farms in Taiwan.
