Siemens Gamesa reports financial headwind

Despite a record-setting order intake, growing revenue and higher prices on new orders, the wind turbine manufacturer's margins became slimmer and after three quarters have declined below full-year guidance.

There are three positive factors in Siemens Gamesa's latest quarterly report, published Tuesday: Revenue grows 23 percent to around EUR 2.6 billion, order intake increases by 12 percent to 2,394 MW and the average sales price (ASP) per MW hits the highest level in almost two years.
