Renamed Siemens Gamesa farm achieves financial close

Australasian project developer closed financing of a new project, for which Siemens Gamesa bagged a contract after a number of wind farms set up with Vestas turbines.

Siemens Gamesa has received an order for 133.3 MW. The wind turbine manufacturer is to provide 31 turbines holding capacities of 4.3 MW for project Waipipi in New Zealand, which last week secured full financing for the NZD 277 million (EUR 161.4 million) investment, announces Tilt Renewables, developer on the project.
