Crown Estate to open 7GW offshore wind site lease auction

The UK's Crown Estate will open its fourth offshore wind auction round, and developers will be able to place bids for projects dispersed over four sites.

The UK is poised to open its next and fourth offshore wind auction round, announces Crown Estate, the British monarch's statutory company that owns and manages assets including most of the UK's seabed, which entails offshore wind activities along the coasts of England and Wales.
