Vestas lands another order from New Zealand

The project developer is injecting an additional NZD 208 million (EUR 121 million) into what will become New Zealand's largest wind farm.

Things appear to be moving quickly for New Zealand's wind farm project, Mercury. This spring, the project's developer announced plans to build the 119 MW Tuitea wind farm and has now opted to extend the facility with another 27 wind turbines, boosting the combined capacity to 22 MW – an investment worth an additional NZD 208 million (EUR 121 million), Mercury informs in a press statement.
