Danish Energy Agency approves EIA report for Kriegers Flak

Denmark's largest forthcoming offshore wind farm has finally received a green light from the country's energy regulator. Now Vattenfall may start to install the facility's 72 wind turbines.

The Danish Energy Agency has approved the Kriegers Flak offshore wind farm project and its environmental impact assessment (EIA). Swedish utility Vattenfall will be permitted to begin installation after the four-week appeal period has passed, the DEA informs in a statement Monday afternoon.
