Ørsted chooses 'small' turbines for German offshore projects
Ørsted has nominated Siemens Gamesa as preferred supplier for two unsubsidized offshore wind projects in Germany. Despite the recent launch of a new and larger turbine model, the selection is markedly smaller than the unit initially indicated by the utility.
Ørsted has once again nominated Siemens Gamesa as its preferred supplier, this time to deliver 1,142 MW for two projects in Germany, Gode Wind 3 and Borkum Riffgrund 3.
