Siemens Gamesa builds wind farm in Ethiopia backed by Danish cash

Siemens Gamesa starts 2021 by entering a new market. The OEM has signed its first contract in Ethiopia with state-owned utility Ethiopian Electric Power (EPP) concerning the installation of project Assela, rated at 100 MW. The wind farm, set to feature 29 model SG 3.4-132 units, is forecast to enter operation in the spring of 2023, Siemens Gamesa informs in a statement.
