Copenhagen utility ready to back historic offshore wind project

An analysis shows that significantly extending the lifecycles of Hofor's turbines at offshore wind farm Middelgrunden is viable. Moving forward with the project would mark the first time a Danish offshore wind facility gets a lifecycle extension.

The 20 turbines that make up offshore wind farm Middelgrunden, located in the Øresund Strait just off the coast of Copenhagen, can rightly be called Denmark's green energy welcoming committee.
