Vestas nominated preferred supplier for 1.3GW South Korean floating wind

The Danish wind turbine manufacturer has won the preferred supplier nomination for the Asian nation’s planned MunmuBaram project of 1.3GW.

Vestas has been nominated preferred supplier for a major undertaking in South Korean waters. The project, a 1.3GW floating wind farm, is being developed by a joint venture consisting of Shell and Swedish floating wind specialist Hexicon.
