Ireland auctions seven offshore wind projects

The seven projects Dublin gave special status in the spring have now received maritime area consents needed to progress further in the tendering process.

Ireland’s first offshore wind auction is scheduled to begin early next year. Now the seven projects authorities deemed most viable back in March have received necessary maritime area consents (MACs), thus authorizing further preparations ahead of the tender.
