Turbine manufacturer Vestas is raking in orders on Thursday.

Following Thursday morning’s announcement of a record-breaking 1310MW onshore order in Brazil, the company builds upon the good news by announcing another 162MW contract in the neighboring country of Argentina.

The agreement was made with Genneia and covers La Elbita project in the province of Buenos Aires, featuring 36 v150-4.5MW wind turbines.

Vestas is charged with delivering and installing the turbines and is to adhere to a 25-year long service agreement upon completion.

Turbine delivery is planned for the third quarter of 2023, whilst commissioning is expected for the second quarter of 2024.
