A long strike may be coming to an end for Vestas in Germany.

The Danish wind turbine manufacturer has reached an agreement with the trade union IG Metall, and the parties have thus moved closer to resolving the 123-day strike, reports Bloomberg News, referring to an email from Vestas.

The agreement should ensure the workers a wage increase of 5.4% from January next year, and they can also look forward to compensation for inflation, which is set at EUR 2,750.

According to Bloomberg, the workers will vote on the agreement today, Tuesday, which could end the strike.
