Ørsted ready to pull plug on US OSWs - just not quite yet
There are fundamental problems in the emerging US offshore wind industry. This also applies in a very literal sense, said Ørsted CEO Mads Nipper in connection with Tuesday’s notice of an impending impairment in the US of up to DKK 16 bn. One of the reasons was that neither EEW nor Bladt are on track to deliver foundations within the planned timeframe.
