Ørsted staves off capital hunt — for now

Danish wind giant Ørsted is not looking for new investors despite its huge 2023 loss, but may need to in the near future. The CIO at Akademiker Pension does not think this will be an issue, however.

The double-digit billion-kroner loss made the headlines when Ørsted released its annual report for 2023 last week. But since this result had been announced in November, the big nail-biter was whether the energy company felt so financially pressured that it had to go to the market and ask for new money via a capital raise.
