Siemens offshore wind CEO poised for merger

The merger between Siemens Wind Power and Gamesa no longer faces a barrier to completion next month, says Michael Hannibal.

The largest wind merger to date is almost ready. Wind turbine manufacturers Siemens Wind Power and Gamesa are merging to create a giant with an order catalogue amounting to more than EUR 20 billion, and revenue of EUR 10.8 billion, and which has even launched its own website. And everything is on schedule, says CEO of Offshore Wind at Siemens Wind Power Michael Hannibal.
