GE lands order on Pakistan's largest wind farm

The US wind turbine manufacturer will provide 87 turbines to one of the world's largest wind corridors.

GE has won an order in Pakistan for 150 MW. GE writes that the wind turbine manufacturer will supply 87 turbines from the GE 1.7-103 series to a project in the Jhimpir region of the Pakistani province Sindh. Beyond the machinery, the parties have signed a 10-year service deal.
