Vestas doubles up on Indian orders

The wind turbine manufacturer is coming closer to a quarter of a GW on the Indian market this year with the sale of a further 18 turbines to the country.

Vestas has reported an Indian order for 40 MW, made up of 18 V110-2.2 MW turbines.

It was placed by the company Atria Brindavan Power at the end of September for the Basavane Bagewadi farm in the state of Karnataka, to which Vestas is already a supplier.
