SSE Renewables appoints new head of business development

The British renewables company has hired a new director of business development in Dan Pearson, who has a background in marine engineering.

SSE Renewables, which operates in the UK and Irish markets, has hired a new director of business development. Dan Person will be responsible for global growth in the company, reports ReNews.

His previous employer was The Renewables Consulting Group, where he worked as Director and Chief Strategy Officer. Moreover, he has a background in marine engineering and has previously worked on developing solar, wind and hydro projects.

Chief Executive Officer of SSE Renewables Stephen Wheeler looks forward to having Pearson join the company:

”Dan is joining SSE Renewables at a crucial time, as we work to build on our pipeline and expand into new technologies and geographies to deliver on our ambitious growth targets,” says Wheeler.
