Denmark's Dong Energy can proudly show off the 2016 results from the wind division.

This is evident in the company's annual report for 2016 which has just been released. The company's darling segment almost doubled its operating result (Business Performance, EBITDA) from DKK 6.1 billion in 2015 up to DKK 11.8 billion (EUR 1.6 billion) last year. This corresponds to an increase of no less than 93 percent.
