UK awards GBP 37m to hydrogen and biomass projects

The British government is moving forward with its renewables plans, awarding GBP 37m in funding for a total of 34 projects.

The UK government has supported a number of hydrogen and biomass projects as part of the nation’s plan to scale up domestic renewable energy, reports Renews.

A total of GBP 37m has been awarded, with the bulk going towards biomass projects as part of the British government’s Biomass Feedstocks Innovation Programme.
