NKT lands two cable system orders, totaling over DKK 1bn (EUR 134m), NKT writes in a press release.

Okea and Equinor have ordered power cable systems for electrification of offshore platforms Draugen and Njord, respectively. The price of the orders totals EUR 160m in market prices. In standard metal prices, the order is valued at EUR 14m, NKT states.

The orders will not affect NKT’s annual financial guidance.

”The projects include full electrification of the Draugen and Njord offshore platforms helping to cut CO2 emissions on the Norwegian continental shelf,” according to the press release.
