Vestas picks up Australian order

Vestas has received an order totaling 252MW from an undisclosed customer in Australia, the manufacturer informs in a press statement on the final business day of 2022, also omitting project name.

The deal entails delivery and installation of 42 model V162-6.2MW wind turbines, each with modified unit capacity of 6MW. 

A 30-year AOM 5000 service agreement is also included in the contract. 

Delivery is scheduled for the first quarter of 2024, commissioning set for the fourth quarter of the same year.
