Vestas gets green light for offshore wind project in the US

Danish project developer Vestas has moved one step closer to its first offshore wind farm. Louisiana authorities have approved the first operating leases – similar to seabed leases in other US states – for offshore wind projects, the largest by far being for the project the Danish company owns through its US development arm, Steelhead Americas.
