Large Vestas and Siemens customer is open to Chinese wind turbines

Eurowind does not reject buying Chinese turbines as long as they meet safety and quality requirements, says the company, which also shares the industry’s concerns. The solution is common rules.

Today, Eurowind buys wind turbines from Siemens Gamesa and Vestas, but to EnergyWatch, the company in no way denies that that Chinese wind turbines could be an option in the future, says Joachim Steenstrup, Global Head of External Affairs & Strategy at Eurowind Energy.
