GE launches the industry's largest 4 MW turbine

GE has jumped onto the 4 MW bandwagon. The US turbine manufacturer is launching a new turbine with a capacity of 4.8 MW, which can be placed on a 161 meter tower and has a rotor diameter of 158 meters, writes GE in a statement. This means a tip height of 240 meters.
